As all stories begin, ours begins with a corrupted spirit. An evil force, if you will. Gevorche is the corrupted spirit of our story.
This sick and twisted King has taken over the land of Under Restraint, and everything is going wrong. Gevorche is mad, angry because during his flee from the Temple of the Ancients, the wolven part of his soul was laid to rest. If he couldn't have his wolf half back, then nobody else could have theirs either.
Which side will you take? The side of the Empire, which has dominated the land, and would easily be the simpler and less dangerous choice, or will you take the side of the Rebels, and fight against Gevorche's power? Only you can decide.

Hey guys! First update on this site, oh my! Our forum is almost ready to roleplay, so make sure to be checking back every few days or so, because it'll be open soon enough! Our goal is for Under Restraint to be open by Friday of this week, but you never know, it might be open sooner!

Season Summer
The desert is as brutally hot as usual, and the coastlines are hot and muggy. The mountains are warming up, though they stay cool and aren't too snowy any more. The more temperate areas are mild and sunny, though a few summer showers are expected. Mating No Birthing Yes

Plotting Any plot ideas or plot requests you have can go here! If you have a character that isn't really doing much and you think could be thrown into a plot, put up a post here, and I'm sure someone will be willing to plot with you. Have a site-wide plot idea? Those are always welcome as well. Any additions to our existing plot are always considered, and we'd love to hear your ideas.
Kretian Rock Structures Beyond the temple, amazing rock structures lay. These structures are made by nature only, and lay a few miles away from the Mountains. Some of these amazing features are miles high, surrounded by clouds. Some say that if you can climb the mountains, a rock bridge connects to the top of the structure, making a sheer drop. These myths are hinted by the lined up columns coming from the mountains that are all the same height. For anybody with a death wish, jumping off that hunk of rock is the best way to go. Along with the rock bridge, there are numerous arches and such.

Underground Temple of the Ancients Hidden by years of sand, this large underground temple is probably one of the hardest areas to find. One could locate it if they only knew the directions, and were to begin their dig. Only during a certain time of the year, when a strong wind blows south, is when this temple of the ancients is exposed. Some have perished looking for it, others live in the underground beauty which had been wired with traps and lights by the current inhabitants. Once inside, the smell of a feast would greet one, and if you took the wrong way, one would certainly die. There isn't only directions to get inside, but also how to get to safety. Choose wisely.
Cacti City Miles separated from the Temple, dense cacti and desert brush stretch across the west side of the desert. It is very easy to get prodded by the sharp needles, but thee is a large amount of other wildlife. Some old creature holes lay in the ground, making a good shelter for cold or windy nights if one gets lost here.

Oasis Is it a figment of your imagination? A hallucination? Of course not! It's actually there! An oasis, sparkling with beauty from the reflection of the sun! And it's surrounded by palm trees! With actual coconuts! Who knew than in the middle of this hot region there'd be water?
Barren Land This part of the desert is basically just sand dunes, and large plains of sand. In the distance one can see the cacti, and that is their greeting if they survive the course through this scorching area. Remember, there IS water stored in the cacti. All you have to do it rip it open. Hopefully there's a creature willing to do it for you laying around. Or, just a creature willing to eat you. Either one.
Algues Swamp This stretch of the marshlands is what defines it. Like you might picture a swamp to be, the Algues is very green and wet, with deep waters filled with mud that could suck you down should you happen to step into the muck. Many insects and birds thrive in the Algues, but it's not the best place for wolves.

Pacifique Clearing Though it is a bit damp like the Algues, this stretch of forest is relatively solid and is often a meeting ground for the dwellers of the marshlands. There's quite a few trees in this place despite it's name, Pacifique Clearing, though they are easy to move around in and are widely dispersed.

Dungeons Deep within the heart of the Empire, constructed in the darkest part of the castle, there lay dozens of metal and stone cells. A few of the dungeons are littered with the bones of werewolves, though these are where Gevorche puts the weak ones he doesn't need. Prisoners that were used for hostage, but their families must not've wanted them back. Once you go down here, it's almost impossible to get out... Unless you've got the keys, that is.
Streets of Blogis Cobblestone streets thread through the Empire of Blogis. Here, merchants sell their goods and pester passerbys to buy their products. Beware, though-- If you're a werewolf and you get caught here, you're almost certain to be locked up or enslaved. If you manage to get away unscathed, you'll have a glorious bounty, though.
Mariposa's Deluge This brilliant waterfall is close to the grove, but hidden enough that you can't hear it. It isn't that big, only fifteen feet tall or so, but it's cascades are a vivid blue and the pool at the base of the falls is warm and inviting. Around the pool at the bottom is a ring of flat, smooth rocks, where a wolf can lay in the sun, warm themselves up and feel the refreshing spray of the falls on their back. It's said that Mariposa, a legend dating back deep in history, would come here to wash her hair, therefore making the water so clean and clear.
The Grove This patch of the forest is back into the heart of the forest, where not many outsiders stray. For the wolves of the woods, this is a common gathering spot, where old friends come to catch up and new people meet. Vines hang from the branches of easy-to-climb trees, so it's quite simple to travel by tree top -- if you know what you're doing, of course. For old visitors, this place is easy to get around in, but for outsiders, though they rarely venture in, you can become easily lost.
Base of the Mountains This is the area where all of the scattered trees are, and the elevation starts to rise. Have a fun trek.

First Tip On the first layer of mountains, it stop early, and an old bridge will lead you to the mid section of the taller mountains beyond. This tip layer is cold, and remarkably flat. Small amounts of brush are woven through the rocky earth here.

Ckrendarch Dens In this middle section of the mountain is a ledge, and on this ledge are deep, deep pits that descend into cozy little dens. In one of these dens is a large passage to the caves. This passage is usually camouflaged by various things. But who by? The cave wolves, of course!

Second Layer After crossing the bridge, one will find himself (or herself) in the mid layer of the second layer of mountains. Down below this ledge is a rocky ravine, with a saltwater river running through, sourced from the ocean. There aren't any guard rails here, so be careful. You only have a few feet before the rocky path continues. After you pass the pleasant field area, a loose looking ground lay, but right through the middle runs a narrow bridge-like structure. But careful, it's slippery. If you make one false move, you WILL plummet to your death. So, uh, be careful and stuff.

Snow Caps The mountains end at this snowy area. It is very rocky here, and a thin layer of snow covers the craggy tops. From here is another rock bridge, held up by nature made stone columns, at the end a large platform. Yes, this is the platform that is above the clouds, leading down the the Desert formations. On the other side of the mountain, is a long stretch to the Hiekkamailla Beach.

Hiekkamailla Shore This place is a beautiful, white, sandy beach. It rests along the edge of the mountains, almost making it a secret. The waters here are clear, salty, and warm. It is probably the only place in Under Restraint that doesn't try to kill you. But swim out to far, and the things in the ocean might.

The Rocks Large rocks on the west side of the shore border the water, and at low tides these rocks are filled with little caverns where water would fill. This is a great play place for curious and adventurous pups.

Main Cave (6 sub-boards) This small hole leads to a series of underground stair like formations that will bring you to the pit of a mile deep cavern. Along the way against that wall are drawn out, almost doodle seeming pictures, that seem to draw out a history. The cave walls themselves are lit with color, the mixture of different materials. Former being have placed dim lights along the edge, as to light the way. These lights are caused by a solar powered plate on the top of the mountains, that runs down through the earth. Stalactites and stalagmites are everywhere, some connected by thing columns. At the bottom there's a flat surface, and a soft running water sound can be heard in the background. If you look around, you can spot various openings, leading to different caverns.

Underground River In the main cavern in a deep crevice, there are rocky stair like formations that lead farther down into the cave. It is at the bottom of this that a freshwater river lazily runs. The water is diamond clear, and the safest, purest to drink. Small fish happily swim through out the water, and you can see more formations that are covered. During the dry season, the water supply is cut off, and the formations are revealed.
